Title: Chester Bennington
Artist Statement:
My inspiration for my drawing was to see if I could get better at drawing by drawing someone else. I decided to draw someone whose music I listen to.
My process was I made a grid first, then I started to map out the outer lines of the drawing. After that, I started to draw the details and finally started with the shades.
Title: Landscape Mountains
Artist Statement:
My inspiration to draw this landscape was to challenge myself to draw a landscape with lots of details and use watercolor paint to add the color. The process to create this piece was I started by lightly drawing out the landscape, then add light colors to the piece, add dark color for the dark areas and I tried to finish adding the details.
Title: #8 Slipknot
Artist Statement:
My inspiration for creating this piece is to get people to listen to his music, even though not a lot of people listen to heavy metals these days. Another reason I had created this piece is that I like this band and the mask.
The process I took to create this piece was I started out by sketching it first before drawing it on my final paper. After that it was on my final paper I added the details and started to shade in the dark places. Final I finished and added more shading if it needed it in some spots.
Title: Tiki sculpture
Artist Statement:
My inspiration for this piece was to show that I could create a Tiki sculpture and make it the way it looks different from everyone else's.
The process to create this piece was I started to a slab of clay and rolled it up with a tube. Then I drew out where and how the facial part of the Tiki would look like. After that, I started to add the details to the Tiki like the nose, eyes, and mouth. I added coil around the eyes and mouth to make it the way people used to do it back then. Last I added skulls and a spear to make it look like Ku, the god of war.
Title: The Wolf and The Moon
Artist Statement:
My inspiration for this piece is that I challenged myself to draw and wolf and moon because I never did before. It was my first time using Oil Pastel and it was hard for me to make it look good.
My process was that I started out by mapping out the wolf first. Then I mapped out the mountains and moon in the background. Last I used the oil pastel to add the color and blend it in with other colors to get the same color as it did it the original.
Title: Sunset
Artist Statement:
The inspiration for my piece was to create something that looks calm and positive to people. Create movement with the short brush strokes and different colors.
The process I took to create this piece was I started out by sketching out the landscape on the board. Then I painted the background to make it look like the colors of a sun setting down. Then I started to do the short strokes, and then finally I painted the black tree to add the finishing part.
Title: Metaphor
Artist Statement:
My inspiration for this piece is to show that something thoughts in someone mind can get worse than what is happening around them. They have stress or anxiety in their thoughts and shows that it can be as bad as a storm.
The process I took to create this piece was I sketched it out first and to see if I would have changed my mind. Then I drew it on the final paper to draw more details and being able to finish on time.

Artist Statement:
My inspiration for this piece it to show people that kids around the world live poverty. I feel this is important because I hope it would people decide to help those in need.
The process I used to create this piece was I started by drawing it out first then I used the light table to redraw it on the final paper and lastly I add the words.
